After watching his brother’s band, Wayde had his first toy kit at the age of eight. In 1978, Wayde bought his first drum set and officially started playing “real” drums at the age of fourteen.
Wayde is self-taught and he learned by " Listening " intensely to Classic Rock since he was only eight years old, and when he got older, he"Watched any drummer I could see play live” to sharpen his chops.
Wayde began playing in bars before he could legally get in by age eighteen, and has played with numerous rock and blues bands over the years, to now include playing with the “Born To Be Wild” tour with Goldy McJohn from Steppenwolf.
